Golf outings are used as a popular fundraiser by many charities, drawing in money from golfers and event sponsors.
On Sunday, May 22nd the non profit organization, Corner Pieces, will hold a golf outing at the Lapeer Country Club. Corner Pieces is a Michigan based organization which uses technology to help children with autism.
The Lions Bear Lake Golf Classic will take place at the Metamora Golf and Country Club on Saturday, May 14th. The Lapeer Lions Club provides eye glasses and other eye care for local blind and visually impaired children and residents through a number of projects. The Bear Lake Camp is designed to help visually impaired children with a safe, fun camping environment.
On Sunday, June 5th theMetamora Golf and Country Club will host the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship Qualifier. The event is open to boys and girls ages 10 – 18 from the Lapeer area and Michigan district.
The Lapeer Aerie #2427 Golf Outing has been set for Saturday, June 11th at the Lapeer Country Club. The event starts at 8:30 am with a shotgun start and 4 person scramble.
