Color tours, Iosco County. Michigan Department of Natural Resources are predicting a short season of fall colors.
Friday, Sept. 23rd marked the 1st official day of autumn, and with colder temperatures comes the changing of leaf color on many trees. Already, throughout Iosco County, maple trees are beginning to turn.
There are many places in Iosco County to view the fall colors. As a starting point, Lumberman’s Monument off River Road in Oscoda, which is the National Scenic Byway.
